"The most marginalized, excluded and exploited once identified, are then equipped with awareness, empowered with options and backed with support in order to live free of harm like human trafficking."

1. How has your experience with Kamo been over the last three years?

"The last three years had been a nice journey with Kamonohashi, it was a teanm work. Kamo is not only a Donor, but also tries to understand from the heart the hurdles faced by its partners and advises for organization`s development and effectiveness. Their focus on Survivors` Voices and the Voice of ground is very much appreciable."

2. What values do you think Kamo brings (has been bringing) into the anti-human trafficking ecosystem of in India?

"GGBK is working on this topic for a long time and is focusing on Anti-human Trafficking since 1996, and with Kamo, finds a separate room in consortium programming for systemic changes. Concrete coordination between Destination and Source area organizations is a good example of healthy ecosystem. Our Journey affects the ecosystem to break all types of Modern Slavery in the World."

3. What kind of world (or future) do you want to build with Kamo?

"With Kamo, GGBK aims to build a Trafficking-exploitation-torture free society- without hindrance!! Our motto, achievements, struggles in the process of systemic change-in search of justice will form a model. We are to focus on entire development for the best interest of the survivors, so that they can live with self respect and dignity, and become the activists in this journey as well."

1. How has your experience with Kamo been over the last three years?

" Our experience with Kamo for last 3 years has been excellent. They are the believer of innovation and new approach. They clearly understand the potential of Dance Movement Therapy in Psycho-social support. With the support of Kamo we have been able to increase our geographical outreach not only in Bengal but also in Maharastra for our anti-trafficking programme. We are able to develop a meaningful collaboration jointly and able to bring a systematic DMT approach in anti-trafficking."

2. What values do you think Kamo brings (has been bringing) into the anti-human trafficking ecosystem of in India?

"Kamo supported different anti-trafficking organisations at different level in India. Kolkata Sanved and Kamo both believe in the survivors’ strength, empowerment and raising their voice. Though this process is time laded however it is sustainable as it brings in an impactful change. With Kolkata Sanved ,the most important value Kamo brought, was showing the impact of DMT to wider community so that people can understand the need of DMT in psycho-social support as well as the importance of impact analysis to provide quality service in the context of anti trafficking."

3. What kind of world (or future) do you want to build with Kamo?

"Jointly with Kamo we want to build the ecosystem of DMT for change in social development sector with government, NGOs, academic institutions, funding bodies as well as the civil society as a whole. Together we wish to build a violence free world."

1. How has your experience with Kamo been over the last one year?

" Working with Kamo for the last three years has been a pleasant experience. The transparency by Kamo within the consortium is laudable. The representatives of Kamo in India share a marvelous relationship with all the members of consortium, which makes working together more expedient. Kamo has proved itself an efficient, successful, understanding and adjusting partner to work with."

2. What values do you think Kamo brings (has been bringing) into the ecosystem of anti-human trafficking in India?

"Human trafficking in India has been a very complex and diversified issue. Working against this has always been a strenuous task. Representatives of Kamo share a gregarious value with all members. The values which Kamo has been still bringing in the ecosystem of fight against human trafficking in India are Vivacity, Sanguinity, Exuberance and Credibility."

3. What kind of world (or future) do you want to build with Kamo?

"We have a vision of making India human trafficking free country and working with Kamo for long term. We see a very optimistic future regarding the same. By working with Kamo, we see a vibrant future ahead."

1. How has your experience with Kamo been over the last three years?

" At Sanjog we believe that it’s pointless to invest in any kind of relationship with anyone who is not willing to work on themselves just a little every day. We feel that an organization or a person who takes no interest in any form of self-improvement, personal development or spiritual growth will also not be inclined to make much of an effort building a truly meaningful connection with you. And, in the last 3 years, Kamo has been that partner- striving with every passing day to improve, develop and grow; to dream bigger but to stay grounded in reality and to strengthen this relationship of being partners with us. Kamo has strengthened the experience that “it's pointless to try and dance the tango solo”…so we at Sanjog know, that we have a partner to dance with, dream with and take up the dare of the challenging work we do."

2. What values do you think Kamo brings (has been bringing) into the anti-human trafficking ecosystem of in India?

"The values of dialogue, transparency and social justice…with loads of curiosity and patience!"

3. What kind of world (or future) do you want to build with Kamo?

"A world where access to justice and human rights is available to all…and to reach there, our intensive joint efforts are to build together a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable development path."

"The work experience with Kamonohashi Project, Japan has been extremely evolving and enriching for Save The Children India. It has brought several systems to maintain checks and balances in the project implementation which varies from evidence based research to technology powered tools for monitoring and evaluation. Kamonohashi has been constantly looking for innovative and proven solutions to the complex issue like human trafficking and piloting within the Indian context and community. This also involves building and strengthening coalitions for enhanced coordination among Government and Non Government organizations. Save The Children India, in partnership with Kamonohashi Project, Japan will strive towards achieving its Mission of Making India a Child friendly Nation by implementing innovative solutions to the issue of human trafficking that will provide access to justice for survivors of human trafficking."

Our partnership started in 2014 when we worked with the Kamonohashi team on monitoring of their India projects. The creativity & flexibility of the team made working with them an exciting and a learning experience. The team was very supportive and open to new ideas making the entire engagement complete in a consultative and participative mode. It was a true partnership and we look forward working on more projects."
